Wedding Palace Bridal Show

I was told to ask for forgiveness for my hiatus!! For all you faithful readers, I'm back and sorry for being behind in my blogging! So much going on with upcoming weddings, a recent wedding show and meeting so many of you at recent consultations.....No complaints here, I love what we do!!

Great meeting so many of you at the Wedding Palace Bridal Show a few weeks ago! We hope you found the show experience helpful and informative. Ottawa Bridal Show September 2009

Hey Everyone!

Jessie & Carrie Get Married!

I had a wonderful time working with this couple! Jessie and Carrie got married at the Norte Dame Basilica and hosted their wedding reception at the Chateau Laurier with a tasteful and classy Las Vegas theme. Carrie's family connections paid off with a delicious antipasto from La Bottega (Nicastro) and her fine taste and style shone through in her decor choices, candy station, wedding cake design and of course swarovski crystals (just about everywhere...love it!)...wow can that girl wear it!

Studio 409 did a fantastic job capturing the beauty of thier wedding and Flowers Talk provided their creative centerpieces, wishing trees and beautiful bouquets.

These two also knew how to have fun and shock their guests! The funniest garter toss that I've ever seen took place at their wedding, I won't spoil the surprise and instead I'll upload the video. Hang tight.... Loved working with you Carrie and Jess, all the best to you both!

Jen & Akshai Get Married!

Wow! What a great day for Jen and Akshai! They treated their guests to a Hindu ceremony in the morning followed by lunch. A Christian ceremony followed in the afternoon with a fabulous cocktail hour and wedding reception thereafter.

A live steel drum band graced us with island sounds during cocktail hour.

Fantastic catering from Rinag Foods and the night was complete with tunes spun by Empire Entertainment.

Full wedding planning by Bridal Solutions INC., as well as centerpieces and much of the decor.

I had a great time working with both Jen and Akshai - what a fun couple!

It's been a while....

Wow! What a delinquent I am!! It's been months since I last blogged, but as you can well imagine, I've been in full wedding mode for several months now. It's been great working weddings every weekend, most times more than one on the same day....I'm definately fortunate enough to have great staff that can look after certain weddings I can't personally attend. I haven't received pictures from the photographers of most of the weddings we've worked on this season, but I will add a few teasers here of some of our weddings, until I get the 'real deal' and post those.

In the meantime....aren't these great? I just love what we do....working with such wonderful, happy couples!

Well another bridal show has come and gone...the Wedding Palace Bridal Show at the Westin Hotel was a success in many aspects.
